Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine Scholarships (2025-2026 Cycle):
Edson Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
Supports DVM students at Rowan University who are New Jersey residents, with preference for those pursuing mixed animal or equine/large animal practice.
Corrinne & Russel Hertz Endowed Scholarship for Community Outreach
Awarded to veterinary students with demonstrated financial need who have been involved in the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine’s community engagement and outreach programs. This scholarship highlights the Hertz family’s commitment to service and expanding access to veterinary care.
Kim Family Endowed Scholarship Fund
Provides renewable support for students with financial need, with preference for those active in the South Asian Association (SASA) and/or the Association of Asian Veterinary Medical Professionals (AAVMP), or other professional affinity group for which membership is open to all. This scholarship promotes leadership, and community within the veterinary profession.
MCD Family Scholarship
A four-year award provided to three DVM students, ensuring consistent financial support throughout their veterinary education. While financial need is preferred, the scholarship primarily recognizes commitment to the profession and helps reduce long-term student debt.
New Jersey Veterinary Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund
Supports New Jersey residents enrolled in the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine who demonstrate financial need, maintain a good academic standing, and have a history of working or volunteering in the animal care community.
Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine General Scholarship Fund
A flexible fund that provides scholarships to students at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine based on need and merit. It helps ensure broad access to veterinary education and supports students across all backgrounds.
Wedgewood Pharmacy Endowed Scholarship Fund
Offers annual scholarship support for DVM students at Rowan University. This non-renewable award is given to a different student every year, expanding opportunities for multiple future veterinarians.
Harold D. Wetterberg Scholarship Fund
A renewable, merit-based scholarship for DVM students who graduated from a New Jersey high school. Preference is given to students interested in large animal medicine or veterinary research, providing multi-year support to help them succeed through all four years of study.
Ziemer Scholarship
Provides renewable awards to DVM students, with preference for those engaged in professional affinity groups such as the National Association of Black Veterinarians or the Association of Asian Veterinary Medical Professionals, or other professional affinity group for which membership is open to all. Financial need is considered but not required, ensuring broad accessibility.
