Dr. Arianna Negrin is an Associate Professor of Neurology & Neurosurgery at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine with highest honors from the University of Padua, Italy in 2003. Between 2004 and 2006, she completed a Neurology Internship at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, including advanced rotations across key medical and surgical disciplines. She subsequently completed a PhD through a joint doctoral program between the University of Padua and the Royal Veterinary College on Feline Inflammatory Central Nervous System diseases.


From 2007 to 2010, she undertook a Conforming Residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain). In 2012, she became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN). Over the following decade, she worked as a neurologist and neurosurgeon in leading referral hospitals and specialty centers in the United Kingdom and Italy, and served as Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, UK.

In 2023, Dr. Negrin relocated to the United States, where she joined the University of Florida as Associate Professor of Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery. Starting in late 2025, she serves as a Founding Associate Professor at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University.

Her clinical interests include feline neurology, surgical neuro-oncology, advanced clinical management of brain disorders in small animals and the role of emotions and attachment on adult learning experiences in veterinary academia.
