Dr. Meghan Jaskot is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences, Primary Care, at the Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jaskot is a New Jersey native who completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, Cook College in 2003. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Dr. Jaskot has gained experience as a primary care veterinarian working at three different small animal hospitals from Toms River, NJ to Temecula, CA, and Newark, DE.
Throughout her career she has put an emphasis on high quality medicine, collaboration, and building a bond with her clients. She was eager to share her knowledge early on in her career by serving as a mentor to new graduate veterinarians and running dental extraction wet labs for area veterinarians. She has a passion for connecting with people and the community in order to better the lives of their pets and is excited to be able to share her knowledge and compassion through education. She has special interests in dentistry, Fear Free patient care, and preventative medicine. She is also USDA accredited to prepare dogs and cats for international travel.
