Dr. French is a Professor of Theriogenology and Head of the Department of Clinical Sciences.  She attended the School of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University and received her DVM in 2009 and PhD in 2011. Following the completion of her DVM/PhD training she enrolled in a dual residency of Comparative Theriogenology and American Board of Veterinary Practitioner Food Animal Practice at the University of Illinois.  She achieved board certification with the American College of Theriogenologist in August 2014 and the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in October 2015.  She is involved in a variety of research areas focused around animal reproduction and veterinary education.
